Andrew Colver Update
It’s nearly a week since my Marathon and I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone who donated to Keepthebeat. Your generosity will help and support poorly children and their families and it is much appreciated.
Got my medal and legs feeling like mine again. Beautiful morning for a run this morning.

Well, completed the Marathon earlier in 3:28:49. Really pleased with the time especially for an oldie!
The last few miles were hell but I expected that. Thanks to Rob Osborn from Race Rapid Mallory for being race nutrition support, Laura Pescott and Craig Harrison for being running buddies, Helen Colver, Louise Colver, Tom and Sophie for road side support and Harvey Colver for riding the last few miles and keeping my pace up. Good to see Colin Amaral Tom Smith and Andrew Sutton on their bikes too.
Most importantly, thanks to everyone for donating to Keepthebeat because that’s really what this is really about; raising money for poorly children.

Andrew Colver Update
So, the Virtual London Marathon is fast approaching. Today was my last training run.
It will be my first Marathon and for those that know me from years back, it’s about 25.9 miles longer than I used to run 😁.
I will be running for a local charity called Keepthebeat. KTB is a small charity supporting children and their families suffering from congenital heart disease.
I will be starting and home in Hinckley at 9am and running through Stoke Golding, Upton, Sibson, Shenton, Far Coton, water park, Bilstone, Shackerstone, Newton Burgoland before retracing my steps for 8 miles to make up the distance to full marathon.
My number is V21405. You can track me on the London Marathon app if you feel inclined. Even better, a bit of support en route would be great 😁.
